September is ‘Clean Up Hunger’ month
Every September, LaFrance partners with Second Harvest Food Bank to help ‘Clean Up Hunger.’ Nonperishable food items and monetary donations are accepted throughout the month of September at all LaFrance locations. Our 2011 goal is to provide 10,000 meals for those in need in the Mahoning Valley.
Button Up
‘Button Up’ Winter Coat Drive
Each fall LaFrance collects gently worn coats at all locations, cleans and distributes them to the homeless through the PATH program and Help Hotline Crisis Center. The ‘Button Up’ program lends a warm hand to thousands in need each year.
Fresh Start
A ‘Fresh Start’ for Success
The ‘Fresh Start’ program was launched by LaFrance to help unemployed individuals in the Mahoning Valley make that great first impression at their next job interview. This program allows area residents to have their job interview outfit dry cleaned for free. We believe everyone deserves a ‘Fresh Start.’

U.S. Flags Cleaned for Free
LaFrance has been cleaning American flags, for free, since 1945 and has been cleaning hundreds of flags each year ever since the start! If you would like to have your flag cleaned, for free, just bring it to any one of our convenient locations.
